Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Gulzar Ahmed, said that corruption is so widespread in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that nothing can be delivered to the people.

While listening to the suo motu opinion on not building schools in the earthquake-affected areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Chief Justice pointed out that corruption was so rampant in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that nothing could be delivered to the population.

Judge Mazhar Alam said the terrorists demanded extortion from the contractors and also made threats. Many entrepreneurs left their jobs in Bannu and DI Khan and fled.

Expressing his ignorance of incidents of extortion by contractors, Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said he would take a report from the relevant authorities on the court's identification.
