Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen said he had nothing to do with a lifetime disqualification case. This case was presented by the Supreme Court of Lawyers itself.

Jahangir Tareen arrived by helicopter at the Takht Bhai area in Mardan, where he was met by PTI workers. MPA Abdul Salam Afridi and other party workers and officials were also present on the occasion.

Speaking to the media, Jahangir Tareen said that life imprisonment had nothing to do with this case and that this case was brought by the Supreme Court Bar Association. Lawyers are of the opinion that life imprisonment is not based on justice.

He said he wasn't involved in the case and the bar didn't give me any advice.

It will be recalled that the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Ahsan Bhoon, recently filed a constitutional petition in the Supreme Court against life imprisonment.
