Provincial government is not against any protest: Saeed Ghani

Sindh Information and Broadcasting Minister Saeed Ghani said the provincial government was not opposed to any form of protest, but the situation became such that the police had to intervene.

Provincial Minister for Information and Broadcasting Saeed Ghani, who belongs to the Pakistan People's Party, said that MQM Pakistan announced that he would visit the Press Club, but then the PM started to enter the room.

He said there were no objections to the protest, but he had already warned them not to go near CM House for security reasons.

Saeed Ghani said that many PSL players stay in hotels around CM House. He said there is high security where the international players stay.

Provincial Information and Broadcasting Minister Saeed Ghani said the Jamaat-e-Islami had been protesting in front of the Sindh Assembly for a month and the Sindh government was in talks with him.
