Two people were killed and more than 22 injured in the blast near the New Anar Kali Pan Mandi neighborhood in Lahore. The condition of several wounded is critical. Several motorcycles caught fire after the explosion.

According to Sach News, an explosion occurred at the famous Anar Kali bazaar in Lahore. The explosion was so terrible that the windows of buildings were shattered and several vehicles were damaged. Immediately after the explosion, several vehicles caught fire.

According to the report, two people, including a nine-year-old boy, were killed and 25 others were injured in the blast. The injured boy had reached his relatives from Karachi in Lahore.

As soon as the explosion was reported, a large number of rescue teams rushed to the scene and took the injured to Mayo Hospital for medical treatment.

Following the explosion, security forces cordoned off the area and evacuated all unauthorized persons from the affected area, while a demining team also visited the site and launched an investigation.

According to forensic sources, the explosion was carried out with a time device. The amount of ammunition used in the explosion is being determined.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar learned of the incident and demanded a report from the IG. He said the incident must be investigated and a report filed.
