The Asif Rehman Simulation Center was established at Dow University Karachi for a modern mannequin or simulator with all the features of the human body.
The artificial limbs will be used to teach medical students about treatment and the human body at the center.
With the help of this simulator all symptoms of any disease can be created so that medical students can deal with the changing symptoms of this disease.
Screens are attached to the simulator, showing the patient's ECG, heart rate, oxygen level, and other vital signs.
Students use the medications administered to the real patient during the simulation, monitor the artificial patient's blood pressure, heart rate, and fever, and administer oxygen and drops.
Dr. Muhammad Asim Hashmi of Dow University said he donated the central elevator and placed the university floor while Dow University called the simulator.
He said that before, human corpses were used to teach medical students, but now there is no need for human corpses after this center.
