Zahir Jaffer's main reason for bail is dismissed

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected requests for bail from the parents of Zahir Jaffer, the main defendant in the Noor Muqadam murder case. Islamabad High Court Judge Amir Farooq rendered a confidential judgment on the claims of Zakir Jaffer and Ismat Jaffer.

The defendant Zakir Jaffer spoke on the motion to declare the decision of the Court of Sessions null and void and for him to be released on bail.

The District and Sessions Court rejected defendant Zakir Jaffer's request for bail.

In the petition filed in the Noor Muqadam murder case, the defendants Zakir Jaffer and Ismat Adam Ji had expressed their dissatisfaction with the defendant Zahir Jaffar and requested his release.

The plaintiffs had argued that they had nothing to do with the murder of Noor Muqaddam by his son, that they were aware of the murder and did not hide the facts.

The defendants' attorneys argued that from the first day my client condemned the murder, we are on the side of the victim and not our son.
