At a press conference in Islamabad with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that the details of the agreement would be revealed next week. He said that in view of the situation arising from the TLP, Prime Minister Imran Khan had formed a three-member committee and had empowered the committee and expressed his confidence.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that an agreement had been reached between the governing committee and the TLP and that it also had the support of Chief Saad Rizvi.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said the talks were not held in an atmosphere of coercion, but in a serious atmosphere, the result of everyone's joint efforts.

He said Mufti Ghulam Ghous Baghdadi, TLP engineer Hafeezullah Alvi would be a member of the committee and that the committee would be operational as of today.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman emphasized that the agreement was not reached in the afternoon and was canceled in the evening. He thanked the government and the opposition for not using force. I thank you.
