Russia claims to have successfully tested a modern Sircon hypersonic cruise missile.

According to the International News Agency, the Russian Defense Minister said that the Russian warship Admiral Gorchikov fired a hypersonic cruise missile that managed to hit the target at a distance of 400 km.

A statement from the Russian Defense Ministry said that the hypersonic cruise missile, called Sirkun, has long been the subject of experiments by scientists and experts.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that the Sircon hypersonic cruise missile will be installed on warships and submarines, further enhancing maritime safety.

Note that the race for hypersonic cruise missiles has been launched in the region where Russia, as well as the United States, France, and China are also experimenting with acquiring a technology called Mach Five.
