The Central Power Purchase Agency (CPPA) has asked NEPRA to increase the price of electricity.

The Central Power Purchase Agency has requested an increase of Rs 4.33 in the price of electricity.
The petition says a total of 8.48 billion units of electricity were produced in November and 8.24 billion units were sold to electricity distribution companies.

The National Electricity Regulatory Authority said the hearing will be held on December 29 at the request of the Central Electricity Purchasing Agency.
