Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the Kashmir issue was, is and will continue to be an important pillar of our foreign policy. In occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the history of the 1990s is repeating itself today.

Referring to the Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the history of 90 is repeating itself today.

Unarmed Kashmiris are subjected to searches and cordons, are killed out of court, innocent Kashmiris, women and children are subjected to inhumane torture.

Pakistan will continue to provide political, diplomatic and moral support to the unarmed Kashmiris. The Kashmir issue was, is and will continue to be an important pillar of our foreign policy. This year again, we will show full solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers.

The Foreign Minister said that Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory and there are several Security Council resolutions in this regard. You will go and your opinion will be respected.
