In a press conference after the Sindh cabinet meeting, Saeed Ghani said that the laws must be changed in light of the Jamaat-e-Islami agreement and an agreement was reached with the Jamaat-e-Islami in which many things. . The committee will now consider where to make changes, but the district councils will continue to function until new local elections are held.

He said that the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the Local Government Law has been discussed in detail, a committee has also been formed on the decision of the court, we will see which parts of the decision should be implemented.

The provincial information minister said that the Supreme Court only struck down two sections of the 2013 law and that the repeal of those two sections was not a big deal. Supreme Court justices see the law better than we do. A review will be requested.

He added that the court's decision affects all provinces and will affect both the federal and provincial governments. And he won when the Electoral Board delimited the electoral districts in our time.

Saeed Ghani said that there is no government with unlimited powers, local bodies have financial and administrative powers, so the provisions of the Supreme Court decision that are clear will be implemented immediately and the clauses that are not clear will be explained. A commission has been created to review the provisions of the sentence. The committee will present the case to the court for clarification.
